Agatha’s Recovery fund, a 501(c)(3) was started in 2024, by Attorney Danielle Hernandez’s desire to provide people who are being victimized an opportunity to afford competent legal representation. A cornerstone of our advocacy work is providing the financial ability to seek private counsel for those needing immediate assistance with domestic violence injunctions, divorce proceedings and seeking legal help.

"After struggling and feeling completely lost in my immigration journey, I felt trapped. But Danielle listened to my story with such compassion and understanding, and she helped me realize that I did have options under VAWA (Violence Against Women Act). She guided me through every step of the application process, explaining everything clearly and supporting me through what was, at times, an emotional and challenging experience. Her expertise and dedication gave me hope and a renewed sense of security.”

"During the 2020 pandemic, I faced an extreme hardship through an abusive situation where my life was being threatened by my spouse at the time. Words can’t describe the level of stress and the toll this situation had upon me mentally. On top of this, trying to navigate the world being shut down, definitely added to the challenge. Forever grateful that I was able to find and meet Danielle. After telling her my story, she was able to bring me hope. From start to end, Danielle helped me tremendously to complete my VAWA petition. She truly made the process seamless and gave me hope that there was another way."
